Sweet treat

Photographed by me, then drawn in HB pencil, Promarkers, pencil and a white Posca paint pen.

This was one of my first real attempts at hyperrealism and it really stretched me as an artist. I learnt how mixing media could give a bold impact and a greater depth.

I tried lots of materials, from paints (acrylic and watercolour) to pencils, but Promarkers and pencil built the depth I was looking for, and the white marker gave it that intense shine.
