Meet the artist
Who is Kitty?
Hi! I'm Beth, better known as The Kitty Kanvas! I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, and art has always been a big part of my life. Over the years, I've explored different styles, from cartoons and pop art to fine art and hyperrealism. Today, I love bringing animals to life through my artwork, capturing their little details, unique personalities and the things that make them so special.
Thank you for stopping by and taking a little look into my world! π

My story

Where it started
I'm a self-taught artist, and my love of drawing started when I was a child. Growing up watching cartoons and loving animals helped shape my creativity and inspired me to experiment with different artistic styles. As I've developed my skills, I've found a real passion for hyperrealism and creating detailed artwork that captures the beauty of the world around us.

My big inspiration
One of my biggest artistic inspirations is Roy Lichtenstein, whose bold colours and iconic pop art style have influenced my love of vibrant, eye-catching artwork. If you've had a look through my work, you might already spot a little of that influence!

What I make for you
Through The Kitty Kanvas, I want to share my love of art by creating personal pieces that mean something to the people who own them. Whether it's a portrait of a beloved pet, a beautiful piece of wildlife or something special you've captured in a photograph, I love the idea of turning a favourite subject into a piece of art you can treasure.
